Porsche, Penske Look to Take LMP2 Championship at Mosport
August 25, 2007

Team Penske is looking to clinch the LMP2 championship this weekend at Mosport. The RS Spyders of Team Penske lead Highcroft Racing by 72 points and Dyson Racing by 73. A victory by either Penske cars this weekend will secure the championship for them.
Penske has won the last six straight overall races, and look like a lock for the title this weekend. They haven’t lost a race in their class since March.
Also, in the manufacturer chase, if any of four RS Spyders from either the Penske or Dyson team win this weekend, Porsche will take the chassis title.
The race starts at 3 PM ET on Sunday, August 26.
