RS Spyder to Debut in Europe
August 28, 2007

Porsche will race the RS Spyder in Europe’s Le Mans Series next year. The RS Spyder will have more restrictions to try to keep the LMP2 entries from trouncing the LMP1 entries. The Dutch Equipe Verschuur team has a “gentleman’s agreement” to only use one professional driver in 2008, with the exception being Le Mans, where they will use two pros. Also, the minimum weight of their RS Spyder will be increased by 50 kg.
