Rental Company Stops Renting Porsches
September 6, 2007

German rental car company Sixt announced they are no longer going to rent Porsches. Sixt cites numerous high-speed accidents sustained by less-than-experienced customers for the new policy, and they believe the average car-renting public just can’t handle such a powerful car.
Recently, a customer took one of the rental Porsches to the Nurburgring and drove it so hard that all four tires needed replacement.
Seriously, with the way most people drive rental cars, why would you even rent out Porsches in the first place?
