2010 Cayenne to be Smaller?
December 3, 2007

Motor Authority has a post speculating on the 2010 Cayenne, and they are saying that the next Cayenne will be based on Audi’s smaller Q5 architecture. They say the it will not only be noticeably smaller than the current Cayenne, but feature shorter overhangs and move away from any serious off-road character that the current model has. It should also have better performance and handling than the current Cayenne, and be powered by the same V6 and V8 engine lineup, possibly with power increases, along with a hybrid powertrain.
It is expected to arrive in late 2009. No word on whether the price tag will be downsized accordingly.
