Russian Model/Bodyguard Dies Defending Her Cayenne from Carjackers
January 30, 2008

29-year-old Anna Loginova, described as Russia’s “most famous” female bodyguard was killed while trying to prevent her Cayenne from being carjacked in Moscow. Loginova hung on to the door handle as the carjacker took off in her Cayenne and was dragged along the street at high speed until she fell off and died from head injuries.
Loginova ran an agency for female bodyguards, some trained by the ex-KGB, and provided protection to Moscow’s billonaires and their wives and mistresses. She also recently spoke about another recent carjacking incident involving her Cayenne:
“I got out, locked the car and at that moment a man ran up and squeezed my hand with keys. I reacted immediately with a Jujitsu move, bending back his hand and hitting his face with my elbow. He did not expect such a reaction. The next moment, I took out my handgun but a Honda car passed by and he jumped in.”
Police think it was a random carjacking and she wasn’t specifically targeted for who she was. In the last year, 50 Porsches were stolen in Moscow, 12 in the last two months alone.
So, a couple of lessens here. First, no matter how much you love your Porsche, it isn’t worth dying over. Second, if you drive a Porsche, steer clear of Moscow.
Some slightly NSFW pictures of Anna after the jump.
