Wiedeking is Highest Paid Automotive CEO
April 27, 2008

The world’s most profitable auto maker also has the world’s highest paid CEO.
Wendelin Wiedeking is estimated to have made over €60 million ($89 million) last year, placing him ahead of other CEOs such as Carlos Ghosn of Renault-Nissan, Alan Mullaly from Ford, Dieter Zetsche of Daimler and Sergio Marchionne of Fiat.
While most people who earn that much might spend some of it on a shiny new Porsche, somehow I don’t think he has to worry about that.
