2010 911 Turbo Unveiled
August 25, 2009

Porsche has unleashed the new facelifted 2010 911 Turbo on the world. But there is more lurking under the skin.
The new 911 Turbo features a new 3.8 liter direct fuel injected six replacing the previous 3.6 liter unit. Power is now up to 500 hp, and fuel mileage increases a couple mpg also. This pushes the car from 0 to 62 in 3.4 seconds, and on to a top speed of 194 mph. Of course, the PDK is also available in the new boosted 911 if you prefer it to the standard six-speed manual. But, hey, here’s a change: those horrible steering-wheel mounted PDK shifters are replaced by real, F1-style paddles…but for some reason, the buttons are still an option if you prefer.
The Porsche Traction Management and Porsche Stability Management systems have also been tweaked to enhance the driving pleasure.
