Recent spy shots of a Boxster and Cayman suggest Porsche is working on RS variants of each car.
The spy shots of the Boxster reveal a ceramic brake package, an oversized rear wing, and a full roll cage. In addition, the tester is sporting a hard top with what appears to be a plastic rear window, [...]

GT2 and GT3 Will Get DFI
September 11, 2008
The next 911 Turbo, GT2, and GT3 will share the new DFI A91 engine that was just introduced in the 911 Carrera. Previously, those models used the M97 engine while the 911 Carrera (and the Boxster/Cayman) used the M96 powerplant.
The 911 Turbo and GT2 will both displace 3.6 liters, feature revised turbochargers and intercoolers, and [...]
$200 grand for a Panamera?
September 11, 2008
So just how much are you going to be paying for the new Panamera? Autobild says you will need to pony up $198,000 for the twin-turbo all-wheel-drive model. I’m guessing that is before you start loading it up with options, meaning a $220,000 to $250,000 Panamera isn’t out of the question.
But what if you just [...]

We’ve got a few juicy Cayenne bits for you. First, The Truth About Cars has done a little speculating about what they’d like to see in the next gen Cayenne. The result is the render above. It’s That Time of the Year Again: F1 Rumors
July 24, 2008
Like clockwork, rumors about whether or not Porsche will enter Formula 1 surface every year. But this year’s rumor has a twist: it comes straight from Mario Theissen, the head of BMW Motorsports.
According to Theissen, several carmakers are thinking about entering F1, and he specifically mentioned Volkswagen/Audi/Porsche. He says that BMW’s success since buying the [...]
Panamera Might Get Targa Top and Diesel Variant
July 22, 2008
It sounds like Porsche is already looking at additional Panamera variants, even though it isn’t showing up until 2010.
An AutoWeek source attended a Porsche focus group and reported Porsche showed renderings of a three-panel targa roof on a Panamera, which would add additional models to the lineup.
Also, in addition to the Panamera hybrid, Porsche seems [...]
Porsche Denies Rumors of Baby Cayenne and 928 Successor
June 2, 2008
Porsche has denied that they are working on a smaller Cayenne (dubbed the “Roxster” by the press) even though spy shots recently surfaced of a smaller SUV testing on the ‘ring. (My guess is that the smaller SUV being tested is actually the next-generation Cayenne, since earlier rumors mentioned it would be smaller.)
Porsche has also [...]
Porsche Won’t Be Building Cayennes in the U.S.
June 2, 2008
Rumors flew a few weeks ago that Porsche might start building Cayennes in VW’s upcoming U.S. factory. Porsche spokesman Albrecht Bamler said that there’s no need to produce the Cayenne in the U.S. because the parts suppliers are all in Europe, and Porsche has currency hedging in place until 2013 to offset the weak dollar.
But [...]
Spy Shots: More Pictures of the “Roxster”
May 12, 2008
Car & Driver has posted some new spy photos of the baby brother of the Cayenne undergoing more testing. They say that Porsche is still denying that the “baby Cayenne” exists, but the pictures don’t lie. I suppose it could be possible this will replace the Cayenne, but not likely.
To refresh your memory, the so-called [...]
