Video: Porsche-powered VW Transporter vs. Cayenne Turbo

German tuner TH Automobile took a VW T5 Transporter, dropped in a 560-hp twin-turbo 3.6 liter flat-six from a 996 GT2, and pitted it against a Cayenne Turbo.

Called the TH2, this smoking Transporter does 0 to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds and hits a top speed of nearly 175 mph. So how does it measure up to the Cayenne Turbo? Watch the video to find out.

Holy crap, is Porsche working on a shooting brake version of the Cayman? A Top Gear fan sent a video to TopGear.com of a test mule that makes a strong case that they are.

Or… is this a test mule for the rumored Cayman Turbo and the extra bodywork is just to provide easy access to the engine for testing purposes?

Top Gear Races Panamera Against… a Stamp?

Fans of Top Gear know all about their famous races… they’ve raced cars against planes, trains, boats, bicycles, and more. But this time they may have outdone themselves. In last Sunday’s episode, James May and Richard Hammond race a new Panamera S against the British Royal Mail service.

Starting in the most southwestern part of Britain, the Scilly Isles, they race 900 miles over land and sea to the Orkney Islands in north Britain. So if you want to deliver a letter overnight, are you better off driving a Panamera or buying a stamp? And what did Captain Slow and the Hamster think of the Panamera?

Fanatec Releases Clubsport Pedals for their 911 Turbo Wheel

Almost a year ago, we told you about Fanatec’s Porsche 911 Turbo wheel and pedals for all you sim racing Porsche fans. Now, Fanatec has just unveiled a sweet set of high-end pedals to go along with the wheel.

The new Clubsport Pedals are made of aluminum and are fully adjustable. And from the video above, they look really precise. I haven’t seen any details on price or availability yet, and it sounds like they are still in beta… but man, I would love to try these out with GTR2 and GT Legends.
